Also, check the Make Special Requests Page -- not all of your requests are going to be accommodated, just like last week. That happens when two teams happen to ask for opposite timeframes. Hopefully not much will change between now and when I post the final schedule, which should be tomorrow Wed 1/27 around 5pm.
Tipoffs for 1/24 posted
THU 1/21 (9:30PM) -- Good news! The new Bushrod director just informed me that Bushrod has a new scoreboard as well as NEW SHOTCLOCKS! So we are moving the three games at Tassa to BCRC, same tipoffs. See schedule table below and BCRC address below that.
THU 1/21 (2:30PM) -- Many of you will not be happy with your scheduling this Sun 1/24, so I'll repost all the issues I had to deal with right here. Also, if you didn't get the Special Request that you wanted and you paid the $5, I can issue you a refund, just email me asap...
- For the Peninsula teams, Peninsula gyms are getting hard to find nowadays. Primarily because of NJB dominating the whole day at SQHM, which is why the earliest tipoff possible at SQHM is 5p. I know SQHX sucks as a gym. To make matters worse, we won't have a laptop shotclock there. But the scorekeeper is awesome and the refs are fair. You'll just have to deal with it.
- Lotsa bogeys. Tons. See the "pref1/pref2" columns that are in red (also check the special requests listed on the right). If you're one of these teams, you will likely be playing at least one of your games outside of your timeframe, due to conflicting requests.
- a/r-osf Sperm/Dream/Thunder/Team quad: Sperm and Dream generally have earlier timeframe, but Thunder and Team generally have later. So what happens when I have to give at least 1 hour break before the winners of these teams face each other? It ends up that Thunder will
PROBABLY play its first game one hour earlier than timeframe. That's the solution with the least damage.
- 6ft-osf Wet/SFW6/Bomb triad: Wet and SF Warriors 6FT have opposite timeframes. Again, you've got a 1-hr break in between this game and the next with winner vs Bomb Squad. Therefore, the 1st game will have to be a bit too early for Wet and the 2nd game will have to be a bit too late for SFW.
- aaa-oak Oakb/Bst/TUS triad: Beast has a timeframe that ends at 3p, Oakboyz made a special request for 12p-3p, but TUS made a special request for a tipoff 6p or later. So with the 1-hr break in between games, the 2nd game will be split down the middle between the opposite requests. No other way to do it.
- rec(-) SRno/PacM/Sqad triad: S.Rhino and Pac-Man have opposite timeframes. I'm sure you're starting to get the theme here, if you've read any of the above bullets. Same issue.
- 6ft-sj SJB/IITW/Prty triad: Read any of the above bullets and you get the drift. See pref1/pref2 columns in the table to see what timeframes or requests various teams have.
- There's also a connected dependency with NL Catz asking for a tipoff before 5p and the aaa-sfp Underdawgz/Indo winner having to goto the Peninsula for the 2nd game. The only way to fit the Catz in and have everyone within their timeframes in SF is to force Undr/Indo at a particular time,
PROBABLY 130p. This forces the Peninsula games to PROBABLY start at 330p, which forces the aaa-e Unleashed vs Too Short to PROBABLY be at 430p, even though Unleashed is begging to play in the main gym at Sequoia (which doesn't open until 5p -- I'll see if they can move over to the main gym at halftime, but please no high hopes on this one!).
Now, for some of the new issues that popped up...
- Nathan Haratani is overlapped because I'm stuck with splitting the difference on conflicting tipoffs for both of his teams.
- J.Bouribane is overlapped because of tipoff timeframes/requests. I asked his captain if the alternative solution of 530p for Fam would work, which would've ended up with Vannack Phann only having 30 mins to get from SF to OAK, but Fam stuck with the original 1230p. I suppose I could've put a 1p tipoff at TFRC and had Bouribane late for that one, but actually my scorekeeping staff is stuck with 1230p-530p tips at IJRC and probably needs to remain that way.
- Michael Yuen is overlapped. Nothing I can do about it. He's on 3 teams.
- aaa-e Unleashed is a little later than usual at SQHM, but they said it was okay.

THU 1/14 (2:30PM) -- See below. The issues are the same as the bullets previously posted below. Not much has changed, and I didn't get any notifications of major issues since the last post 4 hours ago, so we'll go with what we got.
Notice the JLHS schedule. The games in red happen only if Chris Yang's Team wins over In It To Win It at 1pm. If IITWI wins, then we ignore the red. That being said, captains, feel free to text me if you need to know your exact tipoff as it pertains to this exact dependency at JLHS. So, in other words...
- If In It To Win It wins (not red):
3:00pm 6ft-sj p2a-LB: #6 Chris Yang's Team at #1 Party Candy
4:00pm 6ft-sj p2a-LB: #5 SJ Barons at #2 Dime Piece
- If Chris Yang's Team wins (red):

Tipoffs for 1/17 almost ready
THU 1/14 (10:30AM) -- Here are some issues to note for 1/17...
- All home/away issues are addressed on your division's roadmap page. Please note, everything rebalances week by week.
- In NL, I put Catz in OAK because their overlap players on AL Prob are also in OAK. Prob must play in OAK.
- Unresolvable tipoff conflict: aaa-sfp Hawk/Pdgy. I'm about to split it down the middle.
- Unresolvable tipoff conflicts: rec(+) WlvR/Alli, then winner vs Drgn after 1-hr break. Split down middle.
- The possible tipoffs for the 6ft-sj LB games depend on who wins Yang/IITW. This will become more evident when tipoffs are posted.

- Please check your division's roadmap for explanations as to home/away. Usually the home/away tally table is the lowest righthand table next to the actual roadmap table. It will show which teams have played in what city how many times. The idea is to even up the tallies compared to your opponent, on a case-by-case basis.
- Due to tipoff conflicts that make scheduling nearly impossible for 1/10, I have postponed the following games to 1/17:
(SF) aaa-sfp p2-WB: #1 ABC-Hawks at #5 Prodigy AAA 1p--6p 2p--2p -- wasn't a problem, but must be moved along with other two aaa-sfp games

In follows that AAA-SFP in its entirety has been postponed to 1/17 (these will not be doubleheaders for aaa-sfp). For A/R-SJ, basically the play-in game of #5 vs #4 has been split up so as not to happen on the same week as Winner-#5/#4 vs #1. Therefore, A/R-SJ will also not have doubleheaders on 1/17.
- At JLHS, if Pac Rock wins, then we will NOT have the last game at JLHS. It was just too difficult with conflicting tipoffs. They and the winner of NBS/SJB would then have to play a doubleheader on 1/17. But if In10City beats Pac Rock, we will have that late SJ game.
- 6ft-osf Bomb is playing a little later than timeframe due to scheduling difficulties.
- Winner of Shacquiao/Thunder at 3p must travel to SF to play the next game at 5p ISAH. They play winner of a/r-osf Sperm/AgentX, which is playing their 2nd game a little later due to scheduling difficulties.
- If your game is labeled "playoffs1a", that means you probably have another game that day, with these exceptions:
a/r-sj playoffs1b: Winner-SJJB/Burn at #1 Rhino (SJ) [4p-7p] 10a-4p -- postponed to 1/17 as explained above
6ft-sj playoffs1b: Winner-TSA/Yang at #3 In It To Win It [latest] 12p-8p -- postponed to 1/17 as explained above
Whenever you do have the possibility of a doubleheader, I try to avoid back-to-backs, so there is likely an hour or more in between games. If it is more than one hour, that means I had no choice but to put more time in between due to scheduling difficulties.
- AL Prodigies request for 8p could not quite be reached. They are at 7p.
- aaa-e Unleashed is playing their 2nd game (if they win 1st) later than requested due to late requests and overlapping players.
- NL Wildcatz playing slightly later than timeframe due to overlapping players.
- aaa-e Golden Ballaz playing later than timeframe. Frankly this came down to choosing between them or SF Warriors to play later than timeframe and I picked Golden Ballaz because they had no-show forfeited to these very SF Warriors last week.
- 6ft-osf BAB playing later than timeframe due to scheduling difficulties.
- aaa-oak STN playing earlier than timeframe due to players on other teams.
- 6ft-sj Party Candy playing a little later than timeframe due to scheduling difficulties. The majority of teams wanting later start times tipped the ship toward later tipoffs. It is not possible to have the 2nd game of a doubleheader earlier than 430p this Sun.
- If there are any errors in playoff brackets (which can be found in your division's roadmap AFTER the first round of playoffs have been played) as a result to any of the above, particularly in relation to the games that have been postponed, those will be fixed on each roadmap next week.

- If your game is labeled "playoffs1a" or otherwise has an "a" at the end of it, that means you probably have another game if you win that game. Exceptions: if Pac Rock wins as explained below and SJJB/Burn, in which "b" will be played on 1/17 (also as explained below).
THU 1/7 (10:30PM) -- The next version below is very nearly completed. It has been vetted for overlaps. Just need to doublecheck scorekeeping staff. The bullet points below still hold... - In SJ, if Pac Rock wins, then we will NOT have the last game at that SJ gym. It was just too difficult with conflicting tipoffs. They and the winner of NBS/SJB would then have to play a doubleheader on 1/17. But if In10City beats Pac Rock, we will have that late SJ game.
- I have yet to determine which SF and SJ gyms will be used for which block of games. A lot of it depends on scorekeeping staff and where their teams are playing. In SF, it's either MDLS or ISAH for sure. In SJ, it's either JLHS or MPHS for sure.
- Here are the probable start times so you can start to guesstimate what time of day you are playing, as I sort out overlaps and scorekeeping staff...
Both SF gyms: early afternoon

TFRC: early afternoon
Both SJ gyms: mid-afternoon

THU 1/7 (7:45PM) -- Tipoff timeframes have been posted in the pref1 and pref2 columns below, per the Make Special Requests page. You can see that there are quite a few bogeys (in red). I'll just have to start sifting thru various scenarios to see how bad things are.
THU 1/7 (1:00PM) -- The next draft will probably not get posted for a few hours (need to recharge). The gyms are pretty much set, i.e., we need MPHS for the overflow in SJ and there's no Peninsula gyms needed since all Peninsula teams are already leading in the home/away tallies, so they'll travel to SF. Also, in case people are wondering, the reason why we have so many doubleheaders is, among other things such as we're the only league out there where EVERYONE makes the playoffs, because it wouldn't be fair to force a high seed to sit, in most cases. When there's only 7 teams, usually the top seed is so dominant that I'll go ahead and sit them. When there's a bunch of teams, we need to get the train moving along, so the bulk of the lower seeds must play two games if they win the first one.
Meanwhile, I haven't looked at the Special Request page yet, but I know a lot of teams asked for a special request. Just remember that I have to keep it fair between you and your opponent, and possibly the next opponent if there's a doubleheader. What you can do is, check who your opponent is and check the Tipoff Timeframe page (on the Bird's Eye page in the righthand grey table), and check the Make Special Request page to see if there's gonna be any difficulties. THU 1/7 (12:45PM) -- Here's the first rough draft of the schedule. Only locations in terms of city and matchups should be correct. Still don't know exactly which gym and the following is NOT in chronological order. I'm going to check the Make Special Requests page shortly and update, and start sorting everything in chronological order.
As mentioned on each roadmap, you can check the home/away tallies of teams you're playing against on your roadmap, to see why you are playing in a particular city this Sun 1/10.

VMSB games moved to SQHX
SUN 1/3 (1:30AM) -- Sorry about this, but the VMSB gym director double-booked us, so we have moved the games to the small gym at SQHX. The tipoffs are still the same. It was either that or play in the parking lot!
I knew about this many hours ago and texted the captains involved, but have been stuck without web access for the longest time. Anyways, all I can say is, sorry, and we won't be using VMSB until further notice. See updated schedule below.

WED 12/30 (9:30PM) -- I knew I jinxed myself. Thanks to the HeavyWeights' Richard Tran, who luckily has been a dreamleague vet, I avoided a serious mistake in the REC- playoffs, where one of the conference winners is only 3-4 (we've never had that!). I've updated the REC- matchups below, but I'm still in the process of vetting for scorekeeping staff and overlaps. Almost done. Remember to check the previous posts to see how we got here, and that I still plan to post detailed explanations on each division's roadmap page.

WED 12/30 (8:00AM) -- Scroll way down for the first draft. Next draft is expected at night time tonight, due to my traveling all day. All playoff matchups will be explained. All locations will be explained. But until then, just trust me. My playoff tiebreakers are 99% accurate and the home/away designations definitely have some reasoning behind them, among which may be that we only have MDLS for a few hours in SF, so we'll use VMSB more. Also we have a new SJ gym: MPHS (see below).
TUE 12/29 (10:15AM) -- I'm almost done determining the matchups. Here are some preliminary notes...
- N.L.: All East vs West, seeded 1 thru 4 each, so it's East #1 vs West #4 and so forth. All games will be in SF except for the Wildcatz which will either be at SQHM or VMSB.
- A.L.: Due to tiebreakers, Problems got the #1 seed, so they have a bye and the other 6 teams get started in playoffs. The clincher was that Problems beat 2449 twice, so in the common opponents tiebreaker, they edged out the Prodigies. Also, it's 7 teams because City Select has been expelled for non-payment. Finally, it turned out to be BlitzKrieg at Shlamazel and even though they've played each other twice already, I didn't feel it was fair to change up the seeds, so they get to stay in Oakland.
- aaa-e: See roadmap. Normal regular season this Sun.
- aaa-sj: 10 Guys 1 Ball and SJ Hibachi will sit, since they lost last week. The other teams play.
- aaa-sfp: Massive tiebreakers trying to figure out the winners of each conference. It goes like this: #1 ABC-Hawks, #2 Next Door Neighbor, #3 Indoballers, #4 Flint Tropics. This will all be explained soon. That also means the remaining 8 teams have to play against each other, then the winners will play these top four seeds. The losers either get eliminated or, if they have double-elim status, drop to the Losers Bracket for next week. So it's a potential doubleheader for 4 teams.
- aaa-oak: Never seen this before, but we have a 5-way tie for 1st place. The weird thing is, Beast volunteered to be the team to only play 6 games, and yet they are currently in first place by tiebreaker (strength-of-victory or point differential in games won). But since they will stay nailed at 4-2, that means they will finish with the #3 seed for sure, since two of the remaining 4-2 teams will become 5-2 by next week! This will all be explained soon.
- 6ft-sj: Last regular season game. Rankings for teams are ready and it's simply #1 amongst Southwest/Southeast vs #1 amongst Pacific/Central and so on and so forth down to the #7's. Please be aware that I'm using #1 thru #7 but this is not playoffs.
- 6ft-sfp: To end up with everyone with 7 games except Bay Area Ballers, who volunteered to play 6 games, Bomb Squad will be playing a doubleheader. All Eastern Conference teams will sit this weekend. More info soon.
- a/r-sj: See roadmap, it's the last regular season game, but I'm having Rhino travel up to Oak for their last game against a strong A/R-OAK team.
- a/r-oak: Rhino vs Dream Crushers, then doubleheaders for The Team, Agent X, and Chindians. Only Smokey gets a bye.
- rec+: Winners of #10 vs #7 and #9 vs #8 have to play a doubleheader.
- rec-: First round playoffs where bottom 8 of 12 seeds must play doubleheader if they win, for the right to play one of the top four seeds. Dunjoz and S.Rhino travel to Oakland finally.

- N.L. Wildcatz travel to SF for the first time due to logistical issues with putting it on PEN.
- aaa-e Unleashed asked for a specific timeframe that forces them to be moved to VMSB.
- a/r-osf Dream Crushers slightly outside timeframe but required due to overlap.

THU 12/17 (8:00AM) -- Do to the issues below, I don't think I'll be able to post the final schedule until at least 3pm today... WED 12/16 (11:45PM) -- Here's a list of problems we might be facing for 12/20...
- No word back from VMSB and SQHM gym directors, although I know for sure we can have a few games there.
- A good portion of the gym time at MDLS will not be available due to a youth tourney, except for maybe the evening.
- We are trying to see if VMSB can have extended hours as a backup to MDLS.
- JLHS has been replaced by PHHS due to a school function at JLHS.
- In the NL, we might stay away from SF due to the MDLS limitations. This may result in first round playoffs being at SF.
- In the AL, also don't know whether or not to stay away from SF. I would like to still have games there, to balance home/aways.
- In the AAA-SFP, the 3 teams in the Central Conference will go down to the Peninsula to face the Southwest teams.
- Per the 6FT-SJ roadmap, except for Pac Rock vs SJB, the remaining teams in the Southeast and Southwest Conferences have a bye.
- Interconference games in the 6FT-OSF, check your roadmap for details and where you're playing.
- Interconference games in REC(-) where teams will travel to SF, see that roadmap.
- NEW: Not sure what to do with 6ft-osf BAB/DC6F divergent tipoffs.
- NEW: Not sure what to do with rec(+) Get Some vs Reckless (also, Get Some didn't pay $5 request).

Technical fouls from 11/22 become free tickets for kids to Jeremy Lin's game

THU 12/10 (2:15PM) -- I don't know what was in the air, but we had a slew of technical fouls from 11/22. I need to remind you that we have the $5 fines for technicals not because we are looking for an additional revenue stream. It is to seriously discourage accruing any technicals whatsoever because one flare up leads to another and, quite frankly, the refs and scorekeepers (and believe it or not, your opponents) really need to get back to work/family the next day. Dream League's goal is a "safe haven" for basketball and we are trying to eliminate drama.
That being said, with the (long) list of technicals below, we will be indeed still be fining your teams, otherwise they will forfeit this Sunday's game. But what we will do is direct these monies strictly for tickets to the Jeremy Lin game on 1/4/2010, such that a kid from the community can attend that game.
Also, I've heard that there's a ref in Oakland who is giving technicals for swearing out loud (not at an opponent or someone not on your team, just out loud). Those technicals do not fall within our concerns for a safe haven, therefore I will not be fining teams for those. However, if you do swear in the presence of this ref, it is his court during that time, so as long as he is applying his interpretation of the rule to both teams and not playing favorites, then so be it. I'm just clarifying that I will not be issuing fines because I don't think you need a sportsmanship slap on the wrist for something like that.
Incidentally, I did some research and it occurred to me that Mickael Pietrus was not fined for his flagrant on Pau Gasol in last year's Finals. So a flagrant, if it is deemed somewhat as a part of the game (a very gray area), does not immediately equal a fine. I know that there is at least one instance where I fined a team for a flagrant that I would like to give the fine back. Please contact me if you are that team. This does not mean you have free rein to foul flagrantly. Each one will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis (as the NBA does).
Here's the list of teams that need to pay $5 before tipoff, otherwise they forfeit the game. Btw, I am listing the names below not to call them out, only to remind these teams because it's been awhile since 11/22. I'm sure all of you will accept what happened and move on, as you would a parking ticket. You can rest assured that there are plenty more names on the season's list of technical fouls, to go around...
- rec(-) Monster Inc -- For either Zach or Vinson's flagrant foul which was excessive and unnecessary, i.e., beyond the scope of the game. The other one was deemed not warranting a fine. I will be reviewing this with the refs, but assuming it was a Flagrant II, then it would be a $10 fine. In any case, Monster Inc should expect to pay at least $5 this Sunday before tipoff.
- 6ft-sj IITWI -- Chris Liclican unsportsmanlike.
- 6ft-sj IITWI -- Ray Rufino unsportsmanlike. That means IITWI owes $10 before their tipoff.
- aaa-e Rangers -- Matt Szeto unsportsmanlike.
- rec(-) Dunjoz -- Jeff Park unsportsmanlike.

Incidentally, if we can't get BSC, then we might be forced to go to SQHM later in the evening.
Anyways, here are the issues and probable start times...
- This week, we got lucky with a lot of the overlaps. Many of them are only 30 minutes apart, but all the gyms are within close proximity. I usually can get between VMSB and MDLS or ISAH within 15 minutes, since there's no traffic on 280/101 on Sundays. If any gyms are running late due to no fault of any team, please have your captain text me and I will try to make the necessary adjustments as needed (it would really be all about pissing off the refs and scorekeepers, who tend to be stingy with their time worked, that's all).
- All affected roadmaps will be updated soon, but all the matchups that were supposed to be based on standings are pretty much based on current standings.
- aaa-oak Colossal asked to play this Sun 12/13 instead of a bye 12/20 and got lucky because Fam can swap and they are both playing Second To None in successive weeks, so no problem. The AAA-OAK roadmap will be updated shortly with this.
- a/r-osf The Team A/R will be playing a doubleheader. The games are spread apart due to their overlap with aaa-sfp Prodigy AAA.
- a/r-osf Agent X also has a doubleheader: 12p at MDLS and 130p at ISAH. The gyms are really close, so that should be plenty of time. Due to the doubleheader, their first game 12p is outside of their usual tipoff timeframe. Just too many other games to squeeze.
- NL Catz and AL Prob overlapping players have 30 mins to get from VMSB to ISAH. I have to make the same commute. I still recommend 280 to 380 to 101 back to 280 to Mariposa. Going 280 straight winds too much through Daly City. There's no 49ers game (Monday Night) either.
- aaa-sfp AWA: if we are forced to go later at SQHM instead of BSC, then this team would be slightly outside of its timeframe.
- 6ft-osf Wet vs DC6F: split the difference on tipoff timeframe conflict.
- N.L. EHSJ is slightly outside its timeframe. Lotsa games in OAK to squeeze.
- rec(-) TTmR is slightly outside its timeframe. Lotsa games in OAK to squeeze.
- All SJ teams: There are many games and only so much gym time at JLHS. Some teams will be outside of their timeframe.
- 6ft-sj Dime/IITW: someone has to play at 10am, so I picked two teams that would have the same issue.
- 6ft-sj BTR: playing slightly before their timeframe, but due to the SJ gym issues mentioned above.
- 6ft-sj TSA: playing slightly before their timeframe, but due to the SJ gym issues mentioned above.
- a/r-sj Rhino has a doubleheader. I swapped the A/R-SJ roadmap to accommodate Rhino's late bye request for next week 12/20, but all 4 remaining teams were scheduled to play on 12/13 anyways. The DH goes to the 1st place team. Check the updated roadmap tomorrow.
- One final note I forgot to mention: If any team is outside of its timeframe through no fault of their own (no scheduling change, no overlaps), then I am happy to credit them one special scheduling request for later use.

Gold Rush Tourney coming up Dec 5-6! Play against AAA/6FT/REC from SJ/OAK/SF/PEN! Only $240
THU 11/19 (1:30PM) -- Poplar (PCRC) has been confirmed! The reason why we have so many OAK games this week is because of the makeup games, namely rec- Dunj visiting. Also, since we were definitely overflowed, I wanted to put all the SF teams at PCRC, which is closer to the Bridge, except I put AL Hyph at IJRC due to the inevitable Raiders traffic as they need to get to SQHM for their aaa-e OneH game. You'll notice that not many teams have asked for later games this season, so in OAK that means we'd be at more gyms assuming it makes sense to expand to a 3rd gym... (1:00PM) -- Actually, I only have 90% confirmation that PCRC is ready to go, but I have a backup solution at BCRC. Just have to hope we dodge the bullet. Here are the issues for this Sun 11/22...
- aaa-sfp Tilt/NDN playing a little bit earlier than tipoff due to NDN overlap with A.L. Prob
- rec(+) WlvR agreed to play a little later than timeframe due to logistics
- 6ft-osf SFW6/Alph is at VMSB because the gym needs at least 4 hrs this Sun, not too far anyways
- aaa-e SFWA/Unle is at VMSB instead of SQHM because we are unable to start at SQHM at 430p (in Unle's timeframe)
- rec(-) Dunj/Str7 will have one ref only and Str7 need not pay $25 (this is a makeup game)
- rec(-) Dunj, rec(-) Str7, and rec(+) RIB have doubleheaders
- rec(+) RIB must pay a $10 fine before their 10a IJRC tipoff due to use of an illegal player on 11/15
- 6ft-sj IITW/PacR someone has to play at JLHS at 11a so I made it IITW since it's (3-1) vs (0-3)
- aaa-sj BrkC/Ankl someone has to play at JLHS at 9p so I made it Ankl since it's (3-1) vs (1-3)

I think the $5 change fee has worked in terms of getting more people to commit to your teams and show up at a certain time, instead of relying on me to pull a rabbit out of the hat every week. Also, the $5 technical fee has helped calm people down. And we just got a few questions, comments, and concerns this week about a variety of things. I'll post about that soon.
For the Gold Rush Tourney Dec 5-6, I'd like to get all the local teams to participate and come to SF for some showdowns that we normally wouldn't have. I hope that some of our more competitive teams within our league will want to step up into separate divisions against the ultra-competitive out-of-towners that frequent our annual Gold Rush. For you Bay Area dreamleaguers, I'm going to be offering a really special discount so that we can finally see the San Jose Hibachi's of the world face The Usual Suspects, for example. I'm still working on posting a signup page for this.
After I get that page up, I still plan to explain all the divisions and schedules. For example, the AAA-SFP is structured in a specific way such that morning teams are able to play morning games and Peninsula teams (who happen to be all afternoon/evening teams) play primarily against each other as well. In effect, instead of giving myself a scheduling nightmare in that division all season, I've pushed it off until the playoffs.

THU 11/12 (12:15PM) -- An error with the ISAH 1230p/130p games was made. It has been corrected. ISAH 1230p is Cereal vs Wolv, while 130p is Starting7 vs Rhino. The error was that the Wolverines were overlapped with their A/R-OSF team, which is playing at 2p at MDLS. Apologies to all four teams for the mistake, but it was corrected within 1 hour of the original post and does not adversely affect any tipoff timeframes... First draft of 11/15 posted
WED 11/11 (11:00PM) -- The latest and greatest draft of the schedule table for 11/15 is below. It is in chronological order and has been vetted for overlaps, however, still faces this issues, some of which prevent me from publishing the final tipoffs...
- Unable to grant aaa-e Sire a bye for 11/15.
- Unable to avoid secondary overlap of J.Lee for NL GmTm, AL Prob.
- Near overlap of B.Nakano for aaa-sfp P2W, 6ft-osf Wet.
- aaa-sfp NDN at 7p due to overlap issue with AL Prob.
- Put JLHS on half-hour since no SJ team can play at 12p, oddly.
- 6ft-sj IITW/Dime at 830p in case I need to lop it off per IITW fft/bye.
- Still trying to verify VMSB and SQHM times. AAU tourney at SQHM.
- Might move evening aaa-sfp ABCH/Slow @SQHM to afternoon @VMSB.
- 3 of my scorekeepers in OAK have not returned calls, so we wait.
Here are probable start times at each gym, so you can already start to get an idea...
- ISAH: mid-morning
- MDLS: afternoon
- VMSB: midday

WED 11/11 (10:15AM) -- The following is just a draft for 11/15. It is NOT in chronological order. You can see the narrow tipoff windows in red and black in the "pref1" and "pref2" columns. Here are some preliminary notes:
- aaa-e Good Sires requested a bye but I am unable to do that without forcing their opponent into a doubleheader situation.
- NL GmTm/NBK will most likely occur at 3p even though GmTm's timeframe is 4p. This is because NBK cannot field a team any later than a 3p tipoff.
- 6ft-sj IITW/Dime: still waiting on IITW to tell us if they can field a team. If not, this game doesn't get scheduled, is a forfeit loss for IITW, but IITW avoids the forfeit fee because the game never got scheduled.
- NL B4L/Show: still waiting on Show Time to tell us if they can field a team. Same issue as IITW/Dime above.
- JLHS back up and running.
- Not sure of the status of VMSB and SQHM. Peninsula's always dicey.
- I've noticed that the SF teams tend not to want later games. But if everyone is requesting middle of the day, you'll have to expect to spill outside of the timeframe every now and then. In particular, the 8p or 9p tipoff. This Sun 11/15, either 6ft-osf BAB or AL 2449 will be forced to play at 8p, most likely.
- Somewhat bad news at IJRC. I'm told that they cannot open until right at tipoff time. You know, things there are run very tight. I've asked if we can open 5 minutes prior to tipoff, which will probably incur an extra fee on the league's part. Therefore, if you are the first game at IJRC, you will likely only get the standard 2:00 shootaround time. Oh well.
My plan is to post the schedule late tonight. Hopefully thus far I've gotten the matchups and locations right.

SAT 11/7 (5:45PM) -- 8p and 9p ISAH games have been swapped such that NL RRgn/GmTm will occur at 8p and aaa-e Poor/SFWA will occur at 9p... THU 11/5 (6:00PM) -- VMSB gym time has changed. Catz/NBK will occur at 2pm (not 1230pm). Captains have been texted... (2:00PM) -- Schedule for 11/8 is up!
