THU 9/9 (10:45AM) -- Check the SCHEDULE page.
Signups for 2010 Fall have begun!
FRI 9/3 (10:30AM) -- WE HAVE A NEW WEBSITE! And registrations for the upcoming season are there. We will soft-launch on 9/19 and hard-launch on 9/26. Btw, the payment page for the new season (and free agent info) is right around the corner, but you can go ahead and register your team right away.
Tipoffs for 9/5 posted
THU 9/2 (8:00AM) -- Please check the SCHEDULE page (linked above).
Signups for 2010 Fall coming soon, register now
WED 8/25 (10:30AM) -- The Signup page, similar to the link above, will be posted shortly, with the payment button. Assuming you are not quite ready to pay and you've been through our process of signing up before, feel free to enter your team's intentions on the REGISTRATION page (lefthand navigation panel). We are planning to soft-launch the next season on 9/12 and 9/19, with a full-launch either 9/19 or 9/26.
Forfeit bond refunds expected Friday
WED 8/25 (10:30AM) -- For those teams that have been eliminated from the playoffs and paid the forfeit bond -- and have not otherwise forfeited or been fined on a team basis (i.e., $5 player technicals not included) -- we expect to have your refund of the forfeit bond done on Friday or by the end of this weekend.
It would help if captains could email me their Google Checkout order number, for faster searches of your orders and refund processing. But if you don't have it, it will still be possible for me to look up your order and refund it.

But of course you can sub on a jumpball
FRI 8/19 (3:30PM) -- Lately, there's been a unsettling number of instances where I've seen refs and/or scorekeepers in Dream League not allow a substitution during a jumpball. This is totally wrong. You can sub on a jumpball except for the two guys jumping (duh). Chances are, it was one of our misinformed refs, who instituted such a false rule, which then spread like a rumor and our scorekeepers in Oakland believed it was true, mandated it, which spread to more refs, and so on and so forth.
Well, this settles it. And if you're in a game where you can't sub on a jumpball, I'd like to be informed as to which ref did that. Because if it's as innocuous a thing as subbing on a jumpball, what's next?
Again, feel free to have your captain text me at the spot of the game. If you're convinced you're right, burn a timeout, text me, get the corrected answer from me, and I'll reinstate your timeout. One mantra at Dream League is that we'd rather get it right and correct it, unless it's too late to correct.
Another example is the "intentional foul". Intentional fouls, which are heavily ingrained in high school and college play, which your refs most likely hail from, do not exist in the NBA. In the NBA, there are regular fouls, elbow fouls, and flagrant fouls (see RULES & REGULATIONS page, lefthand nav panel). That's pretty much it.
Suffice it to say that I have posted this not just because I'm the most anal guy on the planet about NBA rules, perhaps even more-so than my NBDL referee friends, but also to give your captain the power to contact me should there be any other "anomalies" that might occur during a game.

New Champ T-Shirt Design
WED 8/18 (1:15PM) -- For those of you longing (since last season even) for our championship t-shirts, let first apologize for the delay, but you can't hurry a good thing! We have a new championship t-shirt design, the first change in about 5 years. To see it, join our Facebook or Twitter...

TUE 8/17 (2:00AM) -- First draft of the schedule for 8/22 has been posted. Click on the SCHEDULE link above.
MON 8/16 (12:45PM) -- Scores are now up on the SCORES page and our Twitter account, except for the last 3 games at IJRC (although we do know who won those). We had 25 of 50 non-forfeit and reported final scores decided by two possessions or less, so I hope everyone is enjoying these playoffs so far. To the teams that were eliminated yesterday, thanks for another great season and we'll be putting up the signups for the Fall-Winter session up shortly.
Meanwhile, check each division roadmap today as the brackets are updated. If there are any errors, please let us know as soon as possible.

Matchups for 8/15 determined
TUE 8/10 (7:15PM) -- 6FT-SJ playoff seeds were posted several hours ago. I plan to post the first schedule table draft late tonight, probably after the Tue midnight deadline for special requests... (9:15AM) -- Check your division homepage/roadmap for your matchups for 8/15. Only 6FT-SJ has not yet been completed as far as 8/15 matchups. Later tonight, I hope to have the first draft of the schedule table up.
Quasi-double-elim playoffs start this Sun!
FRI 8/6 (1:15PM) -- For most of you, it starts this Sun 8/8. There ain't nuthin like it! Double-elim playoff status. A true test of survival.
No matter the end result, an arduous playoff run could net you almost as many games as you played in the regular season. Especially for those of you with only single-elim status who may scare the field and make a run through the Winners Bracket. This is the trademark of Dream League.
Heck, even if you're saddled with single-elimination status and you get knocked out, chances are, in any other league you wouldn't have been invited into the playoffs. Most leagues out there only let the Final Four play in the playoffs. Good luck!

Cutting out top-seed playoff games in SF 8/8
WED 8/4 (11:00AM) -- Although I have updated all the roadmaps affecting SF (a couple OAK divisions remain uncompleted as of this writing), which is because of the logistical nightmares in SF due to various gym issues, I may need to postpone all the higher-seeded teams in all SF divisions, if there are situations where a low seed must play a play-in game to reach a high seed.
For example, #7 plays #10 and the winner plays #2. The #2 seed game would be postponed to 8/15. Sorry, but kind of no choice. More info soon.
3 teams are real close to eliminating themselves
MON 8/2 (12:30PM) -- Three teams forfeited yesterday on 8/1 and it couldn't have come at a worse time. Playoffs are imminent for all three teams and their forfeit fees must be paid, otherwise the league will not be scheduling them in. These teams are NL/AL Hyphy, 6FT-OSF Big Gamerz, and A/R-SF AdHoc. They have until midnight tomorrow to pay. After midnight, the scheduling of gym time, referees, and scorekeepers for 8/8 begins.
Roadmaps updated for 8/1

Scores from 7/25 posted
WED 7/28 (1:45AM) -- All scores have now been posted (I think)... TUE 7/27 (8:00AM) -- Almost all of the scores have been posted on the SCORES page. Freddie's crew is busy updating the standings. FYI, many of the matchups for 8/1 will be based on standings. Check your division roadmap for details, then check the MSR page for various teams' tipoff timeframes and any special requests.
Payment status updated on Outlook page
FRI 7/23 (11:30AM) -- Not many outstanding payments left, but there's a few and as you know from my taking two games off the SCHEDULE page, Hello Kittys and Mix Team are on probation for (alarmingly serious) lack of payment. You can now check your amounts paid and if you are on the installment plan on the Outlook page, linked above.
Those of you on the installment plan will end up paying $600 or $655 instead of the $500 or $555 that all the other teams paid upfront.

Congratulations, Jeremy
WED 7/21 (6:30PM) -- Speaking on behalf of the Dream League community, I hereby salute you, Jeremy Lin. We've been fans since Day One and wish you the best. We knew someday we'd be celebrating some sort of contract with the NBA, but even we did not know it'd be this soon nor could we have fathomed the Warriors. In the meantime, we'll be watching your truly unique style of play, and some of us will be emulating, I'm sure...
Standings-based matchups for 7/25
WED 7/21 (6:30PM) -- If you look on your roadmap, some divisions have standings-based matchups starting this Sun 7/25. In instances where there are an odd number of teams, I might be giving one of the teams a bye, with a doubleheader to follow on 8/1 as the math plays out. Just remember that even though the intention is to give the 1st-place team this bye-then-doubleheader, that's not always the case if I get a last-minute request for a bye from some other team. As always, the game blocks as listed on the roadmap can be shuffled unless you specifically want to lock a block down and you tell me to do so.

Outlook for this Sun 7/18
WED 7/14 (12:00PM) -- ISAH is still down (see last week's notes) but we have SSFX as a backup starting at 4p. Since this is a late start, expect to have games later, plus all day at MDLS for the morninger timeframes. The 6FT-OSF teams from SF will travel to OAK to ease the load, in the standings-based inter-conference matchups. The only other foreseeable quirk is that in A/R-SJ, Das Hoops vs Garage Kids is a makeup doubleheader.
7/11 ISAH moved to MDLS and SSFHS

Friendly reminder for installment teams
TUE 7/6 (7:30PM) -- Here's another friendly reminder for captains on the installment plan (see Outlook page, PAID column) to pay your next installment via the DONATE page before the deadline of midnight tonight, otherwise you might get excluded from the scheduling for this Sun 7/11 with an auto-forfeit.
Byes for 7/11
TUE 7/6 (11:45PM) -- Previous version incorrectly had a/r-sj GMU with a bye. That was a copy/paste error, copying the 7/18 block instead of 7/11 (see A/R-SJ Roadmap). The byes goto LeAhnBury and Das Hoops, as that was the reason for their involvement (sort of, for Das Hoops) with the "advanced makeup" game on 7/4. Also, in a/r-oak New Hope and ReDream will indeed have a bye this Sun 7/11 as the bye is needed for ReDream A/R... MON 7/5 (7:45PM) -- Hope everyone had a great July 4th. Working on the schedule right now, but based on the roadmaps, here's what we got for byes this Sun 7/11...
BYES FOR 7/11 (* - natural bye) NL/AL bye: Eagles* aaa-sj bye: (none) aaa-sf bye: Poorcats* aaa-oak bye: Hit List* 6ft-sj bye: RiteNaow* 6ft-osf bye: (none) a/r-sj bye: Das Hoops, LeAhnBury a/r-sf bye: (none) a/r-oak byes: New Hope OGs at ReDream Team A/R rec-sf bye: Maggette & Meatballs at Hello Kittys rec-sf bye: Bboyz at Gambler's Anonymous rec-pm bye: (none) rec-am bye: (none)
Those crossed out means that you *do* have a game. Hopefully it's clear per the roadmap as to what the whole cross out means. The two scores from yesterday 7/4 will be posted shortly.
Mid-season status checkup
THU 6/30 (12:00PM) -- The following is *not* required reading and is quite long, but oh well... While addressing some issues with our logistics in SJ, figuring out the first-50-captains t-shirts, and looking ahead to a trip to NBA Summer League in Vegas next week -- and the very thankful reality that I have room to breathe this week because of the July 4th holiday -- I thought it would be good just to send an email to everyone and basically have a mid-season checkup... More info
Two games set for this Sun 7/4
THU 6/30 (12:00PM) -- Click on the SCHEDULE page. Happy 4th of July to everyone else (well, to the 4 teams playing, too).

Scores from 6/27 posted, working on 7/4
TUE 6/29 (12:45AM) -- Scores from 6/27 have been posted on the SCORES page. I'm now going through the countless emails and posts on the MSR page pertaining to having 7/4 be your makeup weekend for a different week having a bye. The likelihood of that happening is very, very low and -- AGAIN, I WILL REPEAT -- Sun 7/4 is an otherwise automatic bye for the July 4th holiday. More info coming shortly.
I'm off to NYC for NBA Draft, Facebook, Twitter
WED 6/23 (8:45PM) -- Just wanted to let you know that I'm off tonight on a red-eye barn-burning trip to NYC to attend the NBA Draft tomorrow. I should have some insider access with a media credential thanks to the folks over at GoldenStateOfMind.com via SB Nation Bay Area. I'm also officially now a contributor to SB Nation Bay Area, which will cover all sports in the Bay Area.
You can follow me on Twitter tomorrow at @poormanscommish, which also auto-updates the Dream League Facebook account.
To keep Facebook from having too many updates, if the happenings at the Draft are too frequent, I may switch it to my "firehose" Twitter account, @nbalivetweet. I'll let people know if I do via @poormanscommish.

- Come to this page. Read the latest and greatest league-wide 411.
- Click on the SCHEDULE link above to see when you're playing, all gyms.
- Click on the MAKE SPECIAL REQUEST link to request something.
- Click on your division link at the top of this article.
- Click on blue SCHEDULE/SCORES link in LH panel to see your division.
- Click on blue STANDINGS link in LH panel for your standings.
- Click on your team name on STANDINGS page for stats averages.
- Click on the game on your team page for the game boxscore.
- Click on blue PLAYER STATS link in LH panel to see division leaders.
- Click on the 2010 Summer Season link in LH panel to go back here.
And that, my friends, is how you would navigate around this site, between divisions, to get all of the information from top to bottom. It's like riding a bike.
Please, no alcohol or smoking on gym premises
TUE 6/22 (9:15PM) -- Should be quite obvious, but please do not bring alcohol on the premises of any gym, and please do not smoke on the premises of any gym. Simply walk a few more yards to the sidewalk where it becomes public property and do what you gotta do there. Please keep our league rated PG-13. Don't forget the kids and the women.
The worst thing you can do is piss off a gym director. I've asked them to be more vigilant and keep a lookout as to who is being a knucklehead, that way we can pinpoint bad apples before they ruin it for the rest of us.
Remember, the whole team pays the price if as few as one spectator of a team is caught doing something knucklehead-ish at the gym or on the premises. So, teammates have to look out for one another and remind each other to respect our goal of having a "safe haven" for the family to come and participate in organized basketball.
Spalding TF-1000s: $45
TUE 6/22 (11:30AM) -- We have a batch of game balls that are coming in by the end of July -- sorry, but we do not have control over Spalding's shipping schedule and where we stand in the queue with other commitments to customers (e.g., NBA D-League, etc.). We buy these in bulk but we won't be using all of them, so we'll sell off the excess inventory. There will be maybe 10 remaining, if we're lucky. They are $45, which is cheaper than going to SportsAuthority if you include tax (and shipping or the gas to drive to the store).
To purchase one, be one of the first ten to goto the DONATE page -- link is in green on the lefthand panel -- and specify $45 and hit the Buy Now button to pay. We will deliver the ball to your game, probably on Sun 8/1 just in time for playoffs. It's just first-come-first-served and if we don't have enough left over, obviously we will refund you. I'll update you with exact numbers next week.
July 4th: automatic bye
TUE 6/22 (11:15AM) -- Sun 7/4 (the week after next) is an automatic bye. There are some captains who are trying to manufacture a bye on some week after 7/4 and thru about 8/8 or before the start of playoffs, but the likelihood of playing on 7/4 and manufacturing a bye is extremely low. Again, Sun 7/4 is a league-wide bye. You will see this in the imminent roadmap postings. There is no need to ask for it off.
Standings are up on division sites!
TUE 6/22 (11:00AM) -- Check your division site above and click on the SCHEDULE/SCORES, STANDINGS, and PLAYER STATS pages on the lefthand navigation panel after you have entered your division site. The stats will be going up soon thanks to Freddie. I'll be posting roadmaps today.
Be sure to come back here to the 2010 Summer season homepage (across all divisions) for overall gym-by-gym scheduling and news.
6/20 scores posted, season roadmaps coming
MON 6/21 (4:00PM) -- Click on the SCORES link above. Also, as you can see if you goto the www.dreamleague.org website homepage underneath the "Ongoing Hoops Communities" heading, the individual division sites are now up, but Freddie is still populating them with the schedules, scores, stats, and standings. I'll try to get a preliminary standings dump posted soon. Also on the docket is each and every division's season roadmap, so you can see where you're headed.
Finally, I sent an email to all captains asking if they want to play on 7/4, which is currently a league-wide bye. If there's a team that does want to play on 7/4 instead of have it off, we can try to accommodate. The primary impetus for doing this is because we are busting at the seams with gym space in SF. It creates a complex situation where I'm not sure if we need to get a full-fledged backup gym or just try for a piecemeal solution, this slight overflow of games needed in SF every Sunday. For 6/27, we are looking at a full slate of games in SF, which again means some teams may be an hour or two outside their timeframe. This ongoing problem is expected to be solved by 7/11, after the 7/4 league-wide bye.
Stats are coming, please be patient
FRI 6/18 (10:30AM) -- I'm sure you're unaware of the inter-workings of how a league works, but here's how it works here at dreamleague... More info
Oh, and if you were one of the teams that wasn't paying on time or I had to chase down, PLEASE don't complain about anything for awhile -- ideally until your team is fully paid. I mean, you're literally the cause of all of our delays, as explained above. If you did pay on time and have been a great dreamleague community "citizen/contributor", words can't describe how grateful I am for you following all of our rules and basically being an obedient sheep as I shepherd you through this season with the 138 other teams.
Another reminder about the MSR page
FRI 6/18 (10:30AM) -- At this point we are done with registrations and it makes no sense for me to go lookup stuff on that database. The REGISTRATION database is also, as the name implies, a registry, so that's where all your ONLINE WAIVERs go as well. Please follow the instructions on the Signup page for such waivers, as is legally required by our gyms. In essence, we can kick out any player from any gym for not being in our registry.
As far as reporting overlaps and tipoff changes of any kind, or almost any other REQUEST that you may have, post it on the MAKE SPECIAL REQUEST page (linked above, as always). Try to avoid sending me emails or text messages because it's hard to manage these things by email or text from a week-to-week league perspective.

Season roadmaps being created
THU 6/17 (8:00AM) -- The matchups for the entire season in every division, and of course for this Sun 6/20, are almost done! I only have REC-OAK afternoon/eveningers and then REC-SF to do. Then I will be setting up the gym schedules for 6/20. Thanks for your patience.
WED 6/16 (11:45AM) -- Since late last night, I've been going down the list of divisions on the Rumor Mill table (click the Outlook link above), which is in alphabetical order, and creating the Season Roadmaps division by division. What's a Season Roadmap? It's a list of matchups from here on out through the end of the season, playoffs included. It's a roadmap of who you play and on what date. Then each week, I figure out exactly what time you're playing based on your tipoff timeframes.
So anyways, I'm now done with 6FT-OSF, 6FT-SJ, A/R-OAK, and A/R-SF. However, I do not want to post them yet because there could be changes I didn't realize. I'd rather post them when I have more confidence that those schedules are set in stone. When you create schedules, you never know when you might've forgotten something. At the rate I'm progressing, I think I will probably have all the roadmaps done by tonight, which will also reveal the matchups for 6/20.
Uniforms reminder -> Scorekeeping!
WED 6/16 (8:30PM) -- Friendly reminder we have uniforms for $42 top jersey + shorts or $27.50 top jersey only, shipped here. These are base prices. Any complexities or sizes XXL or larger incur nominal labor fees. Best to click on the Uniforms link above. While we are on this subject, we've gotten a recent flash flood of uniform orders and -- not to rain on the parade or anything, because it's great that you're ordering them -- you couldn't have picked a worse time to send them in, as I'm in the throes of preparing our schedule for this Sun 6/20 and the rest of the season. These folks will need to wait until Friday before I can come up to breathe and approve your uniform orders with our vendor.
Good uniforms have a direct correlation to accurate stats (unless, of course, you happen to wear exactly the same primary colors, which does happen once in awhile). Incidentally, if you want to scorekeep to pay off some of your franchise fees, such as installment payments, please go ahead and inquire. You never know.

Rumor Mill and Payments updated
WED 6/16 (8:00AM) -- "Final" (for Sun 6/20 scheduling purposes) update... TUE 6/15 (4:15PM) -- Another update of paid status... (8:15AM) -- Goto the Outlook page then click on the Rumor Mill link or just click here to see what teams are in your division and who's paid. Again, as written in the previous post below, teams will be auto-forfeited at 11:59pm if they have not paid the required installment.
Great example of why schedule comes out on Thu
MON 6/14 (4:00PM) -- If you are one of the two dozen teams from whom I am waiting for the next installment payment, please do not complain about Dream League's policy for releasing the schedule every Thursday. Right now there is only one division that would be ready for a full season schedule. One division that is 100% fully paid: A/R-SF. That's it. The rest? I am waiting for payment. I am waiting for demonstration of commitment to this league.
On the flipside, if you are one of the teams who has paid in full and can afford to plop down the franchise fees in one sitting (and believe me, I'm really happy that you can do that), please appreciate the fact that we have perhaps the most diverse set of teams out there for you to play against, by allowing these so-called "impoverished" teams to join our league. Otherwise you'd be playing the same teams over and over again. The same great group of people who can afford it, who pay on time. I guess that can get a little repetitive though, no? I mean, I'm cool with it. I'm just relaying the complaints that we get. So as the saying goes, every rose has its thorns (?).
As a group, together, we wait for the financially struggling teams to come through on their stated commitments. Not much different in the NBA, actually. You got your Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat bleeding money. Is David Stern gonna kick 'em out because they are losing money and can't draw any TV ratings?
In any case, no scheduling can be done by me today, unfortunately. Ready to start anytime, though!
Stats are back!!! Stats are back!!!
THU 6/10 (8:30PM) -- Led by Dream League Stats Manager Freddie Kwong, we are proud to announce that stats are back!!! I can't even believe I'm saying that, but it's true. If you don't believe me, check out the 3 divisions Freddie and his cousin just punched in last week (yeah, the whole season!)... Now, let me make clear: it's not free. But we've found a way to make it affordable: just $5 per game. Here's how this will work... More info
Tipoff timeframes: 6-hour window
THU 6/10 (2:30PM) -- I don't know why so many people put in their registration a 2- or 3-hour tipoff window, like 11a-2p. Sometimes I even got 12p-1p. Folks, as the Signup page asked you, I need SIX hours to work with. Let me repeat that weeknight leagues ask you to carve out 4 hours (6,7,8,9p). We are talking about an entire days worth of games, so I'm asking you for 6 hours on Sunday.
And that's why 3p is the midpoint. Scroll down and read that previous post. Really, scroll down. It is for your own good. You MUST read everything here, otherwise the following things are bound to happen...
- Your teammate will get overlapped.
- You'll get a tipoff that you're surprised by.
- You won't understand how we do things and get upset.
Again, scroll down and start to catch up on things you are missing. He who snoozes, loses.

MON 6/7 (11:15PM) -- Another update. See Rumor Mill table on Outlook page... (2:30PM) -- Check the Rumor Mill table for another brief update. More to follow... SUN 6/6 (2:30PM) -- Another update! See Outlook page... SAT 6/5 (4:45PM) -- Click on the Outlook link above, then scroll down to the behemoth table at the bottom of the page. I expect there will be more registrations thru tomorrow, so please be patient as I update the table, as well as update the payment status for each team that has registered.
Tipoff timeframes: the 3p midpoint
TUE 6/8 (12:45PM) -- I've seen a lot of teams requesting really constrained tipoff timeframes, like 9a-1p or 5p-9p. As the Scheduling FAQ and Signup page alluded to, you MUST make your team available at 3p at some point. I simply cannot promise your constrained tipoff timeframe, and we've had upset customers because I didn't come out and say that outright (although it is listed in multiple places). So please, if you're gonna get all mad at me because I scheduled you at 3p, I'd rather not be your target of anger. I'm not saying it will be 3p every week. I'll try, but I cannot make any guarantees. Please do not hold me to it. If you need a full explanation, please consult the Scheduling FAQ or email wylie(at)dreamleague(dot)org. Thank you.
Where to report Overlaps and Special Tipoff Requests
MON 6/7 (8:30AM) -- If you or someone on your team is playing on two teams, please goto the MAKE SPECIAL REQUEST page (link above) and post your overlaps. Please be reminded, each team is allowed no more than two overlaps. If there are more, it becomes exponentially more complicated, so any extra overlaps per team, we will put as "secondary" which means they are less likely to be fulfilled.
Any weekly special tipoff requests that deviate from your mandated 6-hour window must also be posted on the MAKE SPECIAL REQUEST page no later than Tuesday midnight of each upcoming Sunday. There is a $5 fee associated with any requests that leave us with a less-than-6-hour window, which constrains our ability to schedule the games.
Ready to soft-launch on 6/6!
WED 6/2 (5:00PM) -- Here's a list of teams that will play this Sun 6/6. Read carefully!... More info
WED 6/2 (3:00PM) -- The behemoth (Version 1.0) has been unleashed! Here's how to read this thing... More info
Next up: Figuring out which teams are playing this Sun 6/6. Based on payments and start date requests.
TUE 6/1 (8:00PM) -- The Outlook page (link above) has been updated with the latest paid registrants. We'll see who's paid and ready to go for 6/6 very shortly. Meanwhile, I plan to merge the new registrants/paid table with that of the Rumor Mill table so that we can see simultaneously which teams are coming back, which teams are new, and who's ready to start on 6/6 or 6/13. Please see below for previous posts, all of which are important pieces of information for all captains.
How to be a Free Agent in Dream League
MON 5/31 (10:00AM) -- Unlike past seasons where everything was helter skelter with the free agents, this season we actually have someone in charge of this and can hand-hold free agents through the process: Deputy Commish Wylie Yuen. Here's what you need to do if you're interested in joining Dream League as a free agent ("FA")... More info
Welcome to the 2010 Summer season
MON 5/31 (9:30AM) -- Added a list of last names who have paid on the Outlook page (link above). Reminders...
- Absolute deadline to pay for this season is this Sun 6/13.
- Minimum payment is $100 for a team (but you end up paying more).
- $50 referral fees (scroll down to previous post below).
- Free t-shirt for first 50 people to pay for their teams.
- State championships vs PacRim! (see Outlook page, link above)
- Next update of registered teams (not necessarily those paid) to be posted very soon.
If you paid by 5/30 and want to start 6/6, we are in the process of scheduling you. Feel free to email the league office with any questions.
FRI 5/28 (8:00AM) -- 46 teams now registered, per the Rumor Mill on the Outlook page (link above). Happy Memorial Day!... SUN 5/23 (10:15AM) -- Sorry for the delay, folks! I've finally updated the Outlook page. Click the link above to see the teams that have registered. I still have to check Google Checkout to make sure the teams have paid.
32 teams have registered, but I'm not sure if they have paid yet. Remember, the first 50 people to pay for their team franchise fee gets a free dreamleague t-shirt. Thanks!
TUE 5/11 (8:00AM) -- Click on the Signups link above to signup and register for the 2010 Summer season.
The FAQ pages have not been updated yet for the current season, but should be adequate for the general jist of things.
You may email wylie(at)dreamleague(dot)org if you have questions, but we do get inundated with questions, so you're better off trying to search for the answer in the FAQs (we'll request that you check that first, anyways).
$50 Referral Fees still in effect
WED 5/12 (2:30PM) -- We are still giving away $50 referral fees if you bring in a new team (i.e., entire team of new Dream Leaguers).
Remember, we have opened up all the divisions to all Asians and non-Asians, except the AAA-Premier and AAA-REC where you can bring in up to two non-Asian "imports".
So if you play in another league, ask your opponent or the next team waiting if they want to play in a Sunday league. That's a pretty quick and easy $50.
Free t-shirt for the first 50 captains
WED 5/12 (3:00PM) -- To show our appreciation for those of you who don't wait until the last minute to register, we have allocated 50 of our remaining inventory of t-shirts for the first FIFTY captains that pay their franchise fees, or even partial franchise fees (see installment option on the Signups page). THANKS!!
