FEBRUARY 27, 2008 (7:30PM) -- So here are the addresses for the 6FT gyms on Saturday. On Sunday we will be up to as many as 6 gyms (more on this later and Sunday might get tweaked to fewer gyms)...

------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't forget, in Pools S and T, the Losers of the Team Rommel vs Cali Xpress and Filcom vs Playhouse games will need to play their 2nd games at Bishop Mora Salesian HS. Same thing with the Losers of the Delano Killa Beez vs Oxnard New Era and Oxnard siniGANG vs LA Freestyle games, who will also be at "BMSH" for the 2nd game.
You might notice that this is slightly different than the original schedule (in the "Matchups" article previously written, see below). Originally we had the winners -- not the losers -- of the DKB/Era and OSG/Free Back then, we didn't know where our gyms would be, so now that we know BMSH is about 30 minutes away from LMHS, we will relegate the losers to traveling the extra miles, keeping the winners at LMHS. Sorry about that.
Also, Nextdoor Neighbor chimed in to say that Spoken 4 is already in their weekly league, but due to various schedule requests, most notably Spoken 4's, we wound up with them both in the same pool. But we can't really change it at this point. Anyhow, the next day we will not have any repeat matchups from Saturday in the first round.
Let me go and update the ELITE division schedule, then I'll come back, input the above schedule into our SCHEDULE/SCORES page, and give a little brief preview of what I know about each team.

FEBRUARY 27, 2008 (11:00AM) -- We've figured out the gym for 6FT for Saturday. It will be La Mirada High School. I can't look it up on the map right now, gotta go take my daughter to the hospital for an appt, but wanted to let you know asap.
FEBRUARY 27, 2008 (8:30AM) -- Welcome to Hollywood! Alright, it's really not so much Hollywood, but LA. Alright, it's really not so much LA, but the West Covina area. Depending on our gym situation, it could even be Pomona or Bell Garden if you're in the 6FT or INT divisions (see the 2/27 posting on the LA Showcase info page.
For the 6FT division, I have actually finished the schedule for the 2-pool-game format on Saturday (read on or scroll down). But I'm not gonna post tipoffs until the gym situation is resolved... More info|
